Hausa 2023 Q13: Jam’in Boyayye – Boyayyu. Korarre –
Source: JAMB · 2023
Jam’in Boyayye – Boyayyu. Korarre –
Explanation
Hausa forms the plural of many words ending in -e with -u. The example gives the pattern: boyayye (hidden one) becomes boyayyu (hidden ones).
Apply the same rule to korarre (one who is driven out). Change -e to -u and you get korarru (those driven out).
The other forms do not follow this -e to -u pattern, so they are not the plural.
