UNIZIK does not run a written post-UTME test. Admission goes by an aggregate score: 70% from your UTME result and 30% from your O’level grades, as of the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 screening cycles. This pack gives you aptitude-style practice questions — English, quantitative reasoning, and general paper — the same skills your UTME score still rewards.

As of August 2026, per UNIZIK’s official screening notice, candidates need a UTME score that meets their programme’s pass mark: 150 for affiliate institutions, 160 for Agriculture, Education and Management/Physical Sciences, 180 for Engineering, Arts and most other courses, and 200 for Law, Medicine, Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Registration for the 2026/2027 cycle ran from 27 May to 21 June 2026, with a non-refundable ₦2,000 fee paid through apply.unizik.edu.ng.

How the aggregate is worked out

UNIZIK grades O’level results on the same four subjects used for your UTME, with A1 worth 90 points down to C6 worth 50 (D7 and below score 0). Candidates who obtained all required subjects in a single sitting get a +10 bonus — this formula has held across the last two admission cycles, per two independent school-news sources.

Worked example: a candidate with a UTME score of 280 and an O’level total of 320 points from one sitting scores (280 × 0.7) + [(320 + 10) × 0.3] = 196 + 99 = 295.

UNIZIK announces each screening cycle through unizik.edu.ng and the apply.unizik.edu.ng portal, with SMS and email alerts to registered applicants.
