University of Ibadan runs a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as its post-UTME screening, not a paper exam or O’level-only sort. This pack gives you practice questions written in that same CBT style, so the real screening feels familiar on the day.

For the 2026/2027 admission cycle, UI’s screening exercise held from Monday 27 to Wednesday 29 July 2026, after registration closed 19 July, per the official notice on UI’s admissions page (ui.edu.ng, checked August 2026). Candidates register and later check their result at admissions.ui.edu.ng — bookmark it, since UI does not run a separate portal for results.

What the screening covers

Per exam-prep sources that track UI’s post-UTME format closely (as of August 2026), the CBT has 100 multiple-choice questions drawn from the same subject combination you sat for JAMB, with English Language compulsory for every candidate regardless of faculty. Reported duration sits close to 90 minutes, though UI’s own portal has not published an exact figure for this cycle, so treat the timing as an estimate rather than a fixed rule.

How your aggregate is worked out

UI’s published formula weighs your JAMB and post-UTME scores unevenly: Aggregate = (JAMB score ÷ 8) + (Post-UTME score ÷ 2). JAMB can contribute at most 37.5 points (300 ÷ 8), and post-UTME at most 50 (100 ÷ 2), for a theoretical ceiling of 87.5.

Say you scored 250 in JAMB and 60 in the post-UTME. Your aggregate is 250 ÷ 8 = 31.25, plus 60 ÷ 2 = 30, giving 61.25. Because post-UTME carries more weight than your JAMB score, doing well here matters more than it did in most other schools’ screenings.
