Salatul Eidayn has___ raka’ah each.

Eid prayer consists of only two rakats. This special prayer is performed on Eid al-Fitr after Ramadan and Eid al-Adha during Hajj season.

Unlike the five daily prayers, Eid prayer has extra takbirs and is prayed in congregation. There is no adhan or iqamah called for Eid prayer.

After the two rakats, the imam gives a sermon about the significance of the celebration.
