Who among the following played a major role in the transmission of Hadiths?

A’ishah, wife of the Prophet (S.A.W.), lived with him for years and had a sharp memory. She reported over two thousand Hadiths.

After his death, many Companions came to her to learn his practice, so she played a major part in passing on Hadith.
