“Lam yalid wa lam yulad”(Q 112:3) is preceded by

  1. Qul Huwal Lahu Ahad

  3. Wa lam yakul-Lahu Kufuwan ahad
  4. Lakum dinukum waliyadi
Explanation

Surah al-Ikhlas (Q112) has four verses. Verse 1 is ‘Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad’. Verse 2 is ‘Allahu Samad’. Verse 3 is ‘Lam yalid wa lam yulad’.

So the verse just before it is Allahu Samad.
