The primary destination of the Voortrekkers during the Great Trek was
Explanation
Voortrekkers migrated to the interior of South Africa in the 1830s-1840s. They established the Transvaal and Orange Free State republics. These areas offered land away from British control in Cape Colony.
Mozambique was Portuguese territory, not their destination. Namibia’s coast was inhospitable and still under colonial control. Kenya is in East Africa, thousands of miles away.
The Great Trek shaped South African history significantly. It created independent Boer republics that lasted decades.
