Which prophet’s ministry primarily addressed the social and religious decay in Judah before the Babylonian exile?

Jeremiah preached in Judah right before the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem. He warned the people about their fake worship and unfair treatment of the poor.

While other prophets also spoke about problems, Jeremiah specifically dealt with the decay happening just before exile. He saw the temple destroyed and the people taken away.

Jeremiah is called the weeping prophet because he cried over Judah’s sins and coming punishment.
