What was the central theme of Ezekiel’s prophecies during the exile?

  1. The promise of a new messianic king
  2. The restoration of the temple in Jerusalem
  3. The punishment of Babylon
  4. God's judgment and the hope of restoration ✓
Explanation

Ezekiel prophesied among the exiles in Babylon. At first he warned that God would judge Jerusalem for its sins. After the city fell, he gave hope that God would restore His people, as in the vision of the dry bones (Ezekiel 37).

So the theme is judgment together with hope of restoration.
