Stainless steel is an alloy made up of
Explanation
Stainless steel contains iron and chromium. Chromium prevents rust by forming a protective layer. Most stainless steel has 10-30% chromium.
Iron and zinc make galvanized steel. Copper and tin make bronze. Neither resists rust like stainless steel.
Remember: Chromium gives stainless steel its shine and rust resistance.
