Kọ́nsọ́nántì tí à ń fi àjà-enu àti àárín ahọ́n pè ni
Explanation
The sound [g] is made using two parts of your mouth. You use the back of your tongue and the soft part at the roof of your mouth. They touch and release to make the sound.
The soft roof is called the velum. The middle back part of the tongue presses against it. This creates the [g] sound you hear in words.
Different consonants use different mouth positions. Knowing where each sound comes from helps you pronounce words correctly in Yoruba.
