Explanation
Voiced sounds are made when your vocal cords vibrate. When you speak and your throat buzzes, that vibration comes from the vocal cords (tan-an-na).
Put your hand on your throat and say “mmm.” Feel the buzzing? That is your vocal cords vibrating. This makes the sound voiced.
Not all sounds are voiced. Some use only air without vibration. The vibrating ones are called voiced sounds.
