Explanation

Suratul Nas (Chapter 114) is the last chapter of the Quran. It is a prayer seeking protection from evil whispers.

Fatihah is the first chapter. Alaq was the first chapter revealed. Falaq is the second-to-last chapter.

Nas and Falaq together are called “Al-Mu’awwidhatayn” – the two chapters of refuge.
