Explanation

The most important day of Hajj is the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah when pilgrims stand at the plain of Arafat. This is where they spend the afternoon in prayer and remembrance of Allah.

Standing at Arafat is so important that if you miss it, your Hajj is not valid. Prophet Muhammad said that Hajj is Arafat.

This day represents the peak of the Hajj journey and is a day of great mercy and forgiveness.
