Explanation

Subhana Rabbiyal Adhim, meaning “Glory be to my Lord the Most Great,” is said during ruku. Ruku is when you bow down with your back straight during prayer.

This phrase glorifies Allah while in the bowing position. It is said at least three times during each ruku to show humility before Allah.
