Explanation

“Maliki yawmiddin” means “Master of the Day of Judgement.” It is verse 4 of Suratul Fatihah, the opening chapter of the Quran.

Fatihah is recited in every unit of prayer. Muslims say it at least 17 times daily in obligatory prayers.

This verse reminds believers that Allah alone controls the Day of Judgement.
