Explanation

The Quran has 114 chapters called surahs. These range from the longest (Baqarah with 286 verses) to the shortest (Kawthar with 3 verses).

The chapters are divided into Meccan and Medinan based on where they were revealed.

All 114 chapters together form the complete holy book of Islam.
