Explanation

A mushrik is someone who worships idols or associates partners with Allah. This goes against Tawhid, the belief that Allah is the only God.

Islam teaches that Allah has no partners, children, or equals. Worshiping anything or anyone besides Allah is the worst sin in Islam.

A mushrik is the opposite of a believer who worships Allah alone.
