Explanation

First-person narration uses “I” to tell the story from the narrators personal perspective. This technique allows readers to experience events directly through the narrators eyes and thoughts.

Third-person uses “he,” “she,” or “they” to describe characters from outside. Omniscient narration knows all characters thoughts. Second-person uses “you” to address the reader directly.

First-person creates intimacy but limits the story to what that character knows and experiences. It is effective for personal, emotional stories.
