Explanation

Amos was a shepherd who boldly spoke against rich people mistreating the poor. He criticized people who looked religious but lived selfishly and unfairly.

While Isaiah and Jeremiah also addressed injustice, Amos focused most strongly on social problems. He called out fake religious ceremonies that did not match how people treated others.

Amos taught that God cares deeply about justice and honesty, not just religious activities.
