Explanation

Paul compared the church to a human body, with Jesus as the head and believers as different body parts. Each part has a different job but all work together.

Just like a hand cannot say it does not need the foot, church members need each other. No one is more important than another, and everyone’s gifts matter.

This teaches unity in diversity and shows that the church works best when everyone contributes.
