Explanation

Chloroplasts are special structures found in plant cells that capture sunlight. These green organelles contain chlorophyll, the pigment that makes plants look green. Chloroplasts are the sites where photosynthesis happens to make food for the plant.

All members of Kingdom Plantae have cell walls made of cellulose for support and protection. They are autotrophs, meaning they make their own food through photosynthesis. Animals lack cell walls and chloroplasts, which makes them different from plants.

While the presence of chloroplasts is mentioned as characteristic, note that performing photosynthesis would also be correct. Both features work together in plants. Heterotrophic nutrition means eating other organisms, which plants do not do.
