Explanation

Sokoto Gudali is a breed of cattle found in northwestern Nigeria. It is a type of zebu cattle with a distinctive hump, adapted to the hot, semi-arid conditions of the Sahel region.

Used primarily for beef and draft power (pulling plows and carts). They are hardy animals suited to harsh conditions with limited water and forage.

Sokoto state is known for livestock production. Gudali cattle are part of the pastoral tradition of northern Nigerian herders.
