Explanation

IITA is a research organization, not a government program. It was created by international partners, not the Nigerian government.

Operations like “Feed the Nation” and River Basin Authorities are government projects. Agricultural Development Projects are also run by state governments.

IITA focuses on helping farmers grow better crops through science and training.
